About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Accountant, the Operations Accounting Clerk 2 is responsible for providing project administrative support along with accounting and transactional support for projects related to time entry, LEMS, owner billings and subcontract administration. The incumbent is responsible for executing tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, and in compliance with project contractual terms and conditions, Union Agreements, and tax legislation. The role is focused on delivering and executing work with direct supervision from the line manager. The Operations Accounting Clerk 2 is a representative of the Operations Accounting function and works closely with Operations Project Coordinators, building collaborative working relationships and dedicated to meeting internal client requirements.
This position is site based on a 5/2 shift (shift rotation may change as project progresses).
This is a term position to support the project for approximately 12 months.
As a member of the Operations Accounting Team at Graham you will:
Provide site administrative support
Complete timekeeping entries and assists in the creation of regular LEMS reporting, in line with owner requirements, and compliant with union agreements and labour standards.
Assist with goods and materials receiving
Assist with general transactional accounting processes and month-end procedures.
Provides support with the administration of subtrade contracts in adherence with company policy.
Enter data for owner progress billings (including change orders), ensuring complete, accurate, and timely billings, and providing all necessary backup.
Provide support for accounts receivable, collections, and deposit of payments as required.
Possess awareness of company policies, procedures, and internal controls at the project level, including project set-up and cost accounting.
Build effective work relationships with Operations.
Be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external stakeholders and ensures positive relationships are maintained.
Demonstrate good communication skills with project stakeholders, and seeks guidance as required

To be Successful at Graham, you will have the following qualifications and experience:
High School Diploma is required.
Business College in a related field is preferred.
1 - 3 years' experience in accounting or project administration is required.
Experience in the Construction Industry is considered an asset.
Possess working knowledge of Excel.
Possess working knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred
Accuracy and attention to detail is required.
Demonstrate developing verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of accounting and job costing principles.
Accurate data entry skills required.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position, for a term of 12 months with the potential for extension.
Contract Term Health & Dental benefits will be provided over work term.
