Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations
Support strategic marketing initiatives focusing on lead management, marketing automation system management, and campaign services execution. This person will work closely with global Marketing, IT, Customer Operations and Technical Services to ensure the end-to-end lead management process is working smoothly and as expected, and supports the sales and campaign management teams in achieving their goals.
Monitor lead management flow between the marketing automation and CRM systems; investigate and resolve any issues as needed.
Execute and monitor lead capture process in marketing automation system to ensure all data is captured and passed through to CRM system per sales team requirements
Evaluate existing lead management processes and flow, make recommendations and implement solutions based on industry and automation best practices to ensure an optimized lead flow from marketing to sales.

Document and maintain lead management and flow processes
Function as key liaison between Sales, Marketing, and IT to ensure all teams are aware of lead management, capture, and flow requirements and processes.
Campaign execution services
Create emails, landing pages, forms and segments in marketing automation system
Administer tasks to appropriate team members to ensure campaign services projects are executed on time and budget
Build and maintain best practice templates for ease of use and streamlining of builds for emails, forms, landing pages, and segments.
Build and maintain automated reporting offerings to support campaign performance; make recommendations based on campaign results. Provide ad-hoc reporting support from the marketing automation system as requested.
Strategic marketing automation projects
Provide strategic guidance and industry best practice recommendations
Project manage cross-functional teams in support of ad hoc automation projects
Evaluate, build, and implement multi-touch lead nurture campaigns to support the company’s goals and initiatives; provide reporting for lead progression and overall nurture performance
Evaluate, build, and implement lead scoring based on sales criteria to improve lead conversions
Evaluate and implement optimization cloud apps within the marketing automation system
Own data management within the marketing automation system; lead/manage data stewardship role to ensure high data quality across the marketing teams
Inform marketing automation data capture requirements and drive additional/optimal use of third-party systems to support data needs within the MA tool.
Inform and drive optimization for overall business processes related to marketing automation and sales team alignment.

Provide regular ongoing feedback and perform employee reviews
Work directly with finance teams related to budgeting, contract renewals, etc.
Review and recommend additional platforms or tools that may be valuable to the marketing organization
Review, track, and report on vendor progress, usage, rates, etc. as needed
Manage vendor relationships, including budgets, usage rates, and performance tracking
5+ years’ experience in a digital marketing/marketing operations group
Very strong expertise in Excel spreadsheets; need to be very comfortable with using varieties of functions and working with pivot tables
Ability to analyze, investigate, and troubleshoot lead management issues in marketing automation system
Ability to think out of the box and make recommendations on how to improve business processes to avoid data issues in the future
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
Solid understanding of relational databases and data tables
5+ years’ experience with marketing automation system (e.g. Eloqua, Marketo, Silverpop, Adobe Campaign) required; Eloqua experience is a plus.
Understand best practices in email and landing page design, and be comfortable making suggestions to improve designs and drive more engagement with prospects and customers
A self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
An appetite to learn advanced marketing tools and tactics in a fast-paced, evolving, direct marketing environment
Flexibility to manage competing priorities and shift focus based on changing priorities and needs of the department or the business as a whole
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors, and other employees
