User Acceptance Test Analyst – Operations (12 month term)
Do you understanding banking? Have you worked in a branch and are ready to apply your financial services knowledge for betterment of systems, processes and functionality? Perhaps you’ve used T24 before – even better!
We are looking for a User Acceptance Test Analyst (12 month term) to join our small, tight knit team to help plan and execute acceptance testing. This will mean applying your knowledge of banking to write test cases, prepare testers through proactive correspondence, and address questions and issues while executing the testing sessions. You will have direct contact with business users so communication, patience and detailed thinking are all essential skills. We work in a fast-paced, dynamic and fluid environment and are looking for a motivated and focused contributor to join our team!
Work with Manager Banking Operations (UAT Testing), UAT Analysts, QA Manager and QA Testers to plan testing tasks.
Work effectively with UAT Analyst, Quality Assurance Manager, QA Testers and Business SMEs.
Assist in the preparation (writing and validation of written scripts) for the testing scope to align with the User Acceptance framework.
Coordinate execution of UAT test scripts and documented results.
Manage tracking of UAT related defects.
Participate in daily/Weekly UAT test status meetings.
Escalate testing issues to Manager Banking Operations Testing and QA Manager to resolve in a timely manner.
Follow a process to ensure User Acceptance Testing execution meets Auditing requirements.
Update Requirements Traceability Document and keep testing artifacts.
Work with Lines of Business Users to identify test conditions and test cases for UAT test activity.
Work with the Lines of Business to identify and prioritize UAT test cases.
As needed, advises Stakeholders on UAT resourcing requirements to support planned User Acceptance scope.
What you’ll have accomplished:Educationally:
Degree or post-secondary education in Computing Science/Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of Test Experience that includes at least 5 years of UAT experience and ideally in Banking/Financial sectors
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills and problem solving capabilities.
Can work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with creating and implementation of quality assurance standards and controls with proven testing methodologies, processes, standards, and tools.
Previous Temenos T24 Core Banking Software experience is desirable, but not required.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Fast learner and can pick up on training on a new system and working with it independently.
Ability to work independently on tasks and delegate as appropriate.
