The Technical Support Administrator Intern assists in end user support for hardware and software, develops documentation, and provides assistance to the rest of the team on IT related projects. This includes hardware setup, applications installation, supports remote users, wireless, Zoom, and VPN access. You are the primary support contact for the Network and Server teams.
You are a strong team player with excellent customer service skills in addition to the following technical experience:
Excellent knowledge of MS Windows environment
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware / Software support
Working knowledge of major OS administration, Windows and Mac OS, etc.
Must have understanding of various application packages, such as Office365, Cylance, Zoom, and OneDrive, One Note.
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively
Knowledge of IOs, and Android for MDM Support
Ability to support Unified Communications
AD Administration – New User creation and Maintenance
Post secondary degree or technical certificate in progress
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
