The Hudson Yacht Club is located in Hudson, QC. This area is a 45 minute drive from downtown Montreal. Access to a vehicle is essential, as there is no public transportation available.

Position and Operations Overview;

Reporting to the Club Manager and Food Services Director, he/she is responsible for the seasonal operation of the Club's Canteen, along with a weekly barbecue.The Canteen operates full time from mid June until Labour Day, while the weekly barbecue operates from the beginning of June through to the 2nd week of September.


  • Daily Operations of the Canteen
  • Train Employees on food preparation and execution
  • Train Employees on proper sanitation techniques
  • Manage 6-8 part time employees
  • Schedule Employees
  • Assign work to Employees
  • Ensure the area is in compliance with all MAPAQ requirements
  • Maintain a clean workspace in and out of the canteen (picnic area included)
  • Rotate food and beverage stock in order to minimize waste
  • Verify and balance daily transactions (cash and Member account sales)
  • Provide feedback and disciplinary action when necessary (in conjunction with Club Manager)

Desired Experience;

  • Background in food services (catering, restaurant, kitchen)
  • Food Preparation and manipulation
  • Supervisory experience
  • Training and Development


  • Ability to be on your feet for 75% of your workday
  • Ability to lift/carry/move up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to bend down and or reach necessary items to conduct work
  • Some computer knowledge (email, basic word and excel)
  • Point of Sales System knowledge an asset
