This position requires the direct supervision of employees working a shift to ensure that all Tim Hortons standards and procedures are being adhered to, in regards to staffing, cleanliness, product and complete customer satisfaction.
Previous experience in the fast food industry and/or previous supervisory experience is required.
Previous knowledge of Tim Hortons products & systems and food safety training would be an asset.
Good organizational & people skills in order to be able to effectively coach the employees to work as a team, throughout the shift, in a fast paced environment.
To effectively, 'Lead by example' by fostering employees whose primary focus is waiting on all customers in a friendly manner and as quickly as possible.
Ability to set up shifts by doing walkthrus, planning employee positioning with 'aces in their places', planning timely product flow/production, ability to respond to customer service problems or complaints in a very timely manner.
Ability to effectively talk each employee into position, identifying shift goals with primary and secondary responsibilities to achieve positive customer service results.
Responsible for shift cash handling procedures, filling sick calls, addressing cleaning requirements , equipment maintenance as required and quickly identifying equipment needing immediate repair.
Ability to create a fun environment that operates within the Operational standards and established policies.
