Position Overview

The Facility Patient Care Manager is responsible for the administrative functions of the Hospital in the absence of Senior Administrative personnel. He/she ensures that the delivery of required health care services is consistent with the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of Seven Oaks General Hospital.

Experience
Minimum 5 years demonstrated knowledge and skill in Hospital management.
Progressive management experience.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
A Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline required, Masters Degree preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
Registration in a professional association/licensure in that discipline.
Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrated ability to foster an interdisciplinary collaborative environment
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to establish positive working relationships with all categories of staff in all Programs/Services.
Demonstrated independent decision making skills essential.
Demonstrated excellence of written and oral communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Mental and physical health to meet the demands of the position.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
