The Entrepreneur in Residence Opportunity

FutureSight is seeking an experienced and visionary entrepreneur who is driven to find disruptive business opportunities and then take a cofounder role in forming and scaling a new venture.

Our ideal candidate falls into at least one of the following three categories:

Founded a company before and are looking for help to identify and launch your next opportunity
Spent significant time working for large corporations and are looking to put your skills and expertise towards a business of your own
Worked in a successful startup as one of the early employees (~first ten) and are eager to take your learnings and run your own show


Either bring your own business idea or run with an idea from our opportunity pipeline
Work closely with the multi-disciplined startup team (Founders, PMs, Engineers, etc.) to move ideas and opportunities through the Lifecycle Process (or kill them and start over)
Early-stage testing, validation, and refinement of business ideas to ensure product-market-fit
Secure lead customers to minimize time to revenue
Iteratively create a go to market plan while continuously testing / refining the business model
For approved and formed opportunities, you have 6 months to launch an initial product, achieve market traction with initial customers and ready the venture for initial outside investment
Build an awesome team around you, grow revenue and customer base and raise investment
With that you will be responsible for strategic partnership deals and direct sales, investor relations, and building a great team and culture
Building a successful business from the ground up with significant equity in the co-created companies


You have previous working experience preferably in a start-up, incubator/VC or consulting firm (>2 years)
You know how to overcome objections, impress people and close deals; you talk to business owners and high-level executives on an equal footing
You have a self-driven “getting things done” attitude
You are an achiever - with a track record of having created extraordinary things with impact
You are data and customer-driven and know how to leverage these to grow a business
You are a generalist - willing to do whatever it takes to make the business successful
You have the ability to think strategically and creatively: analyze, synthesize, recommend and take actions
You are an outstanding communicator, and deliver winning presentations
