Sooke Harbour Resort & Marina offers boutique style vacation homes are set in the secluded village of Sooke amidst the diverse natural beauty of British Columbia’s Vancouver Island. Not far from the conveniences of the city, Sooke is approximately 40 minutes from Victoria.

SookePoint Ocean Cottage Resort is a new development in East Sooke. Located on the most southwestern tip of Vancouver Island, this destination offers unparalleled and abundant orca whale and other ocean wildlife watching opportunities right from our guest rooms.

This position is a full-time year round position with evening and weekend shifts.

Extensive front desk experience.
Valid Driver's license.
Must have own transportation.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite mainly Outlook, Word and Excel.
Basic understanding of accounting concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Oversee the day to day operations of the resort.
Train and assist in scheduling staff.
Work closely with General Manager to support daily operations.
Assist with Housekeeping operations.
Communicate effectively with the team including; maintenance, housekeeping and marine operations.
Cooperatively develop with the General Manager the yearly budget and operating plans.
Recognize staff achievements.
Point of contact after office hours for in house guests, may require assisting guests over the phone or traveling to the resort to assist.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
