University of Minnesota Physicians and St. Joseph and St. John’s Hospitals are seeking a Neurological Surgeon to join our Spine Surgery practice.
The team of physicians and nurse practitioners of the Spine and Brain Clinic provides minimally invasive and comprehensive spine/brain care and surgery treatment options for many different conditions. We provide care at both HealthEast St. Joseph and St. John’s Hospitals with planned outreach at several different clinics within Fairview.
A high percentage of our clinic visits result in a surgical intervention
70-80% of surgical practice is spine related; basic to complex revisions
Medtronic Stealth and O-arm navigation equipment is utilized at both hospitals.
1-2 days surgery block time in an efficient OR environment
Reasonable call rotation (approximately 1:4) of primarily Stroke and Level III Trauma
Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)
Compensation and Benefits:
Income Details: We offer a market competitive salary guarantee with an opportunity to supersede the guarantee based on production.

Graduate of an accredited ACGME Neurosurgery residency and/or fellowship training program and Board Certified/Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
