What you’ll get to do:
Management of all aspects of lab operation including supervision of quality control technicians. This includes workload management, staff development and guidance, and providing technical expertise in testing and analysis.
Oversee inspection, testing, and analytical procedures to ensure concrete products meet or exceed requirements;
Provide expertise and consultation to sales and operations staff on all aspects of project work;
Develop strong working relationships with project owners, general contractors, and consulting engineers;
Recommend changes in materials, product design or manufacturing processes to optimize costs;
Provide innovative solutions, technical support and troubleshooting expertise to internal & external stakeholders;

Who we are looking for:
Bachelor of Civil Engineering or a university degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with quality assurance/quality control processes in a ready-mix concrete, construction materials or related construction environment.
Previous experience in supervising, coaching and developing people
Highly developed communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in decision-making and problem-solving
Technical knowledge of mix designs, control procedures, and product applications; CSA, ASTM, ACI
Proven leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
