Cantrade Capital Inc. is seeking a Computer Network Technician Specialist to fill a full-time permanent position located in Oakville, Ontario at 2308 Woodcrest Drive, L6M 4C5. This position requires at least 5 years of experience in the networking and telecommunication field (VoIP).

The starting hourly wage is $30.77 for 40 hours per week.

Position: 01

Work with Huawei Switches (SoftX 3000) for International Exchange (ICX) and International Gateway (IGW)
Work with Soft Switches e.g. VOS3000, MIRA, VoIP Switch, iTel Plus, etc.
Able to configure Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) Gateways e.g. iQsim, Hypermedia, Eurotech, etc. on site or remotely
Remote Datacenter Work
Ensure optimum level of performance of the servers by assessing and optimizing capacities
Ability to communicate and negotiate technical and if required business dealings with Tier 1 telecommunication companies on an international scale e.g. Bell Canada, Rogers, AT&T, BICS, Tata Communication, etc.
Ability to communicate with ICX and IGW companies in Bangladesh since all calls will be terminated in Bangladesh through those companies. Knowledge of Bengali would be an added advantage but not required
Plan, prepare and present technical presentations related to telecommunication business of Cantrade Capital Inc. in other countries.

Skills Required:
Clear concept of VoIP business and technology
Minimum 5 years’ experience on Huawei switches (SoftX 3000) to run ICX and IGW operations.
Requires proficient knowledge of International Exchange (ICX) and International Gateway (IGW).
Practical training on GSM gateways e.g. iQsim, Hypermedia, Eurotech, etc. from the original vendors
At least five years’ experience on following switches to manage wholesale, DID (Direct Inward Dialing), apps based voice retail and services;
iTel Switch Plus
Strong concept on Linux, CentOs and Fedora.
Some knowledge of telephony marketplace would be useful.
It would be advantageous if applicant has experience attending international telecom fairs, e.g. International Telecoms Week (ITW), Wholesale World Congress (WWC), Capacity Middle-East, Asian Carriers Conference, etc.

Mandatory professional certifications with minimum 5 years background:
MCSA/MCSE: Microsoft certified System administrator/ Engineer.
MCSA (Messaging): Microsoft Certified System Administrator Messaging
CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate
CCNA Voice: Cisco Certified Network Associate-Voice

Bachelor’s Degree from an University or a two years’ post-secondary education diploma with
Minimum of one-year Diploma in Network Technology, and
Completion of Cisco Network Academic Program (CNAP) from CISCO authorised organization

License Required:
Ontario Driving License (G)

Ability to communicate, read and write fluently in English

Other requirements:
Fifty percent Business travel required
