An opportunity exists within the Ministry of Agriculture’s Corporate Services Branch for a motivated and client-focused individual to join the Planning & Information Technology Unit as a Senior Business Analyst. We offer a challenging and supportive work environment where you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of ministry programs and services through the design and maintenance of information technology (IT) applications and databases.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will represent the Ministry on several technical advisory boards as well as contribute towards corporate strategies through IT service renewal. You will research, design, develop, and maintain various applications and databases for the Ministry, specifically focused on Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You will consult with internal and external clients to ensure that their business needs are met on a timely basis. You will work closely with stakeholders from other ministries and organizations to ensure the Ministry is aligned with enterprise best practices.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of various IT applications including Microsoft Dynamics CRM as well as project management and system design methodologies. You have the ability to consult and communicate effectively with a variety of non-technical clients to gather requirements for various IT-related projects. You excel at undertaking research and business needs analysis to find solutions to problems encountered by clients. You actively lead and motivate teams by demonstrating effective communication, problem solving and project management skills.
