The role will require an individual with strong technical and organizational skills. The Internal IT Administrator will be responsible for end-user support as well as the ongoing availability, stability and performance of Fully Managed’s infrastructure and IT services.
Provide technical support and assistance with any desktop and application related issues.
Provide response for assistance on any internal server and server application related issues
Provide basic support for Network equipment (switches, firewalls)
Respond to requests for technical assistance by phone, email and/or using a help desk management system and follow to resolution
Participate and/or lead project based work as required
Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Administer and support Active Directory, Exchange, Windows servers
Work as a technical resource on assigned projects.
Maintain and create any appropriate documentation
Development of procedures with internal stakeholders.
Interface and provide technical support to remote offices
Participate in providing 24/7 on-call support for IT environment as required.
Participate in weekend maintenance activities, as required.
Support, maintain and administer third party applications.
Install and configure server and desktop operating systems
Be comfortable working in a secure production environment with appropriate procedures and policies for a SaaS
Hands-on experience with installation of cable, operating systems, and software systems
Ability to promote IT best practices in infrastructure management and user support
Other duties as required
5+ years Windows administration experience.
5+ years Windows server 2008, 2012, 2016
Active Directory user management.
Manage security and distribution groups. • Windows DNS, DHCP, GPO.
Knowledge of network basics
Knowledge of VPN basics.
Knowledge of VMWare (ESXi)
Knowledge of MS SQL and reporting
Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration
Troubleshooting/provisioning skills (workstations and servers).
At least basic knowledge of NAS/SAN.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of power shell and windows scripting
Experience with AIX, Linux and/or Unix is an asset
Experience with hosted VoIP solutions
Microsoft, VMWare, and/or Cisco certification(s) will be a definite asset

Technical sales experience
Experience in a multisite environment
Experience with server clusters
Experience in a multi-tenant hosting environment
Certifications from software\hardware vendors
Ability to multitask and maintain focus on priorities is a must.
