Requirements

The Account Manager serves as a main point of contact between Retalon and its customers developing a long-term trusted relationship with them. The Account Manager should have periodic face-to-face meetings and calls with the customers to provide them with expertise on best practices in retail, recommend how to use the Retalon system, understand customer requirements, and collect feedback. Internally, the Account Manager will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions based on individual needs.

Job Responsibilities:
Working with Customers:
Understand, gather and document customer requirements
Provide customers with retail expertise and help in understanding Retalon system and processes
Convey customer education and training sessions, and help with UAT
Ensure Clients satisfaction Success of any projects related to the account
Recognise the need in additional professional services and customizations to the customer
Assurance that the customer gets timely business and technical assistance
Be involved with a hands-on approach to company activities

Internally:
Work with the development team on customer requirements and new functionalities
Participate in further development of the Retalon solutions
Configuration of retail business rules for the customer environment
Oversee the system deployment process (retail side)

Skills Requirements:
Undergraduate degree, in business or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience working in a retail organization
Proven experience in at least two of the following retail processes:
Demand Forecasting and Inventory Management,
Merchandise and Assortment Planning
Pricing, Promotions, and Markdown optimization
Superb verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and people skills
Ability to travel 25-30% of the time
Bi-lingual (English and French), an asset
Knowledge of SQL, an asset
Experience in data mining and statistical analysis, an asset
Strong technical/computer acumen
