About the Organization

The Zero Emissions Building Exchange (ZEBx) is an independent non-profit that strengthens the public, private and civic capacities for zero emission buildings in Vancouver and British Columbia.

As Canada’s first and only high-performance buildings centre of excellence, we foster a community of practice through targeted programming including dialogues, technical workshops, project tours and technology demonstrations. We also catalyze, convene and disseminate research, and develop resources for industry. Our work connects building stakeholders – designers, developers, builders, contractors, solutions and training providers, associations, academia, governments – across market segments from single family homes all the way up to high-rise residential and commercial buildings.

Centre Mission: To rapidly accelerate the knowledge, capacity and passion for zero emissions building in Vancouver and British Columbia.

By joining our team, you will be in the unique position to apply your knowledge of building science/engineering to support the development of thought-provoking content that will engage the various sectors of the building industry and foster a sense of excitement and ownership for the accelerated transition towards zero carbon buildings in BC.
