Why property management? When you think of long term property management, can you think of a national brand name known unequivocally for delivering excellent customer value as you can for taxis (Uber), shot-term rentals (AirBnB), or laptops (Apple)? Like Uber has done, and Zoom is doing for video conferencing - Hemlane is endeavoring to be that force for property management.

This job would start out as 100% remote - you'd have the freedom to work from home or a WeWork etc. We'll look at getting an office as the team ramps up and we hire more.

Client Manager: Your day-to-day activities:

  • Work with warm leads to understand, consult and set appointments to show them how Hemlane can help optimize their real estate investment portfolio.
  • Develop an action & implementation plan to onboard to ensure long-term success.
  • Work with your customers for the next 4 months with checks in to ensure the transition to Hemlane is going smoothly and are not at risk of leaving the system.
  • Build up a client base whom you can derive referrals and new business from and conduct reach outs to past and current customers to derive new business.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to review metrics and participate in growth/training.
  • Attend marketing or other industry events across the US to grow business.

The right individual:

  • First and foremost, you have to have a passion for building something great and changing the world. You LOVE your work and you are excited to wake up every day and make a difference.
  • A passion for real estate with hopefully some past experience is a huge asset but not a requirement.
  • Must love & be savvy with technology.
  • Strong with numbers/reporting - real estate investing is a numbers focused business and you need to speak our customer's language.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. If your customer is having an issue, you must be the front line to quickly address and independently solve this problem to ensure they have an excellent experience.
  • Great with people - your customers must LOVE you and you must LOVE working with them.
  • Professional, articulate, trustworthy with great references.
