Build on your career experience by:
Coordinating and supervising the provision of care in Mental Health Developmental Disabilities services
Establishing clinical priorities and assigning/adjusting work assignments
Ensuring necessary resources are available
Participating in recruitment, interviewing and selection of staff
Providing leadership by developing, implementing, and evaluating staff orientations, in-service education and placement of students for clinical experiences
Assessing, developing, and evaluating the skills and performance of staff by providing coaching and instruction as appropriate
Providing clinical expertise, consultation, role modeling a leadership in evidence-based practice to staff and patients
Your background includes:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing plus four (4) years’ recent, clinical experience in individual, family and group modalities of practice in mental health/psychiatry in either a hospital or community setting including a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience
Current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia (CRPNBC)
Valid B.C. Driver’s license and access to personal vehicle for business related purposes
