What is the opportunity?
As a Business Analyst in the Logical Access Management team you play a varied role to deliver end to end improvement areas across the operating model, oversee all change management and increase the overall governance and management information flow across the function into senior leaders. In partnership with the current LAM SME team in Luxembourg engaging technical aspects of applications with the focus on access management gap analysis, issue and action remediation. Support the current LAM tactical processes delivered by the team periodically and when required.
What will you do?
Develop MI, Reporting and Risk Governance for the Logical access reviews and support the ongoing delivery to senior management/risk owners
In partnership with T&O and 2nd Line Risk help to embed awareness and understanding into the 1st line of access provisioning, fulfillment and reviews roles and requirements, across the RBC and third party application inventory
Support the business in it response to managing data security and fraud risk standards, as relates to access management
Develop a ‘cost to serve’ model to help the business quantify effort/cost required to manage access requirements, across RBC hosted and business managed applications. To be leveraged to support change considerations and tactical process scope change
Lead all change management across the LAM function, including tactical process enhancement and/or any I&TS initiative impacting application management e.g. Transformation and Change
Build a LAM application inventory in partnership with T&O utilizing IIPM and Access Manager Record keeping.
Partner with supplier office to ensure access management requirements are incorporated into consideration for new application onboarding processes. Also, with Identity and Access management onboarding function, to ensure proactive management of application access provisioning and logical access review ownership
Support and deliver all issue and action remediation relating to any risk, audit or compliance findings, management or operational events corresponding to application user access rights, profiles, reviews or provisioning
Knowledge transfer the tactical processes supported for logical access across GCO and take ownership of certain application reviews to understand the detailed process to support the team deliver quality and timely application reviews
Leverage best practices seen across other RBC segments for logical access management within I&TS
Provide technical support for the tactical access management process, supported on SharePoint, excel and using macros/VBA
What do you need to succeed?
Preferably a reasonable duration of relevant industry working experience
Preferable experience working with application management within IT or Technology functions
Strong knowledge of SharePoint configuration and usage
Strong knowledge on Excel and Access (VBA is a nice to have).
IT Standards, Methodologies, audit requirements
Technology Appreciation and Awareness
Professional Qualification (e.g. CA, CFA or MBA)
Project management, change or transformation experience
