We are actively seeking a PART-TIME ATHLETIC THERAPIST to enhance our dynamic Winnipeg Team!
About the Role:
A part-time position with flexible hours (potential to progress to full-time), this is a fantastic professional development opportunity for an Athletic Therapist looking to expand their skill set. Working alongside and supported by a team of experienced complex care providers, including kinesiologist, athletic therapist, occupational therapist, social workers, counsellors and specialized healthcare consultants, this position will provide excellent mentorship in the area of complex care, a skill set that is in high demand. To continue to grow and develop as an AT/Kin as well, providing physical assessments both in the field and in clinic. You will excel at this opportunity if:

Conduct orthopaedic assessments and create/implement subsequent treatment plans
Implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and /or work hardening programs;
Record functional and subjective findings in client charts;
Set functional goals with client input;
Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge;
Conduct a variety of physical assessments (training with be provided for specific testing)
Report to clinic managers on client progress.
Completion of a university program in the field of Athletic Therapy
Accreditation or registration with the appropriate national (CATA) and provincial (MATA) professional association
Proof of liability insurance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Ability to monitor multiple clients;
Good oral and written communication;
Previous clinical experience is an asset
Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
