We're looking for a talented back-end developer to join our Halifax-based team to help us improve our flagship product integration with Salesforce.
What you'll do and love doing:
Collaborate with a team of product designers, developers and QA analysts to deliver clean, scalable, maintainable and secure features in our flagship product integration with Salesforce.
Own our internal AppExchange application codebase, you will be the goto for all things Salesforce!
Communicate with your team in a professional and friendly manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
Be able to build custom real-time integrations between SFDC and other software platforms/tools.
Collaborate with various internal departments, including Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Product to ensure Salesforce environment supports internal needs relating to functionality and performance.
Design custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, visualforce pages, dashboards, email generation, and Lightning web components according to application requirements.
Periodically scheduled work efforts to assess and analyze the operational process to find and implement new efficiencies.
Maintain the Salesforce code-base within BitBucket.
Ability to communicate with business stakeholders and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions.
2+ years of programming in APEX, Visualforce and the Web Services API is preferred
Extensive experience in developing Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce pages, writing Workflows, Integrations, Force.com API and its editors are required
Experience in Lightning component development, Lightning design development
Experience with Test-driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) process
Salesforce.com Platform Developer I Certification
AMPscript coding experience
Experience working in an Agile software development environment
