Reporting to Director – IM Innovation & Optimization, PM specialist will support Director in timely execution of the IM Ops Transformation program. He/she will be responsible to manage day-to-day project related task and perform risk management. He/she will work very closely with project team to provide support where needed.

Major Responsibilities:
Coordination: Coordinate between vendors, consultants and CN internal stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of projects and ensure timely decision making.
Task Management: Managing vendor/consultant access to the building; planning lunch; booking meeting room, support on-board of new team members. Track and update project and initiate/implement project cost control processes. Support in organizing program management-related meetings (e.g. status updates, governance meetings) including preparation of supporting materials and meeting minutes.
Risk management: Work closely with other project managers and SMEs to perform risk management for timely completion of the project. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed
Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress. Support the team where needed, in order to complete project tasks. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility

Education / Certification / Experience:
Undergraduate degree in business or engineering.
2-5 years of project management experience including working on projects with multi-disciplinary nature (information technology and business transformation)
Experience in operations transformation is an asset
PMP certification is a plus
Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite including project management tools
Experience in preparing project documentation (i.e. project plans and schedules) to define project tasks, timelines and resources
