Business Development Representative, NEC Sales Champion

The successful incumbent is the main contact at SYNNEX for NEC product sales, customer and supplier related issues & opportunities within SYNNEX.

Responsible for driving and increasing overall NEC revenue, market-share and reseller breadth
Know NEC & SYNNEX Company vision & mission – strive to exceed expectations with every partner, every day and to maximize shareowner value
Quarterly review with manager and NEC to ensure goals are being completed & next quarter’s goals are assigned

Training :
Assist in coordinating and participating in SYNNEX’s Sales & Reseller training and activities
Attend trainings on NEC product line
Have knowledge of market trends for NEC product categories, demonstrate competence on NEC products, reviews trade publications and industry news
Become and remain sales certified on all NEC products SYNNEX distributes as applicable
Attend NEC events/conferences as appropriate
Serve as the point of contact for all NEC communication, which includes:

Weekly communication of NEC promotions to Resellers
Work with Resellers and SYNNEX’s Sales to create awareness, drive solution sales and add-on sales
Communicate with prospective Resellers the value the SYNNEX provides
Assist in creating and closing business, work with NEC reps & SYNNEX’s sales reps daily
Manage incoming calls from Resellers and SYNNEX Sales
Weekly team meeting to discuss issues, new products/programs, opportunities, updates
Initiating partnership (engagement) efforts between NEC Sales and SYNNEX’s Sales (field & inside sales)
Work with SYNNEX management and NEC team (Marketing, Technical & Purchasing) on sales plans, goals and initiatives
Assist in implementation, coordinating and managing all NEC programs
Build Reseller relationships
Participate in targeted outbound calls
Call on NEC Field and Inside reps to form relationship
Provide notification to SYNNEX Sales and Resellers on new NEC products and/or changes (create
documents and follow up calls)
This position will also include Product Manager related functions such as:

Manage the P&L, inventory and vendor programs and relationships
Work with Marketing to develop marketing programs and internal sales communications
Meet/Exceed monthly revenues, Net GM% and Net GM$ vendor forecasts

Your passion is sparked by:
Minimum high school diploma (Post- secondary education an asset)
Minimum 5 years’ sales / business development experience
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail & responsiveness
Self- starter
Strong technical knowledge
Superior customer relation skills
PC Literate (MS Office)
Ability to multitask (juggle duties effectively)
Extended hours required occasionally
Team player
