Company: Electronics manufacturing, assembly and design including PCB assembly, testing, and circuit design for volume production, NPI, and quick-turn prototyping.


  • High school diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum two (2) years Electronics Manufacturing hand soldering experience
  • Must be willing to learn new skills and be flexible within department, working in a fast-paced , team-oriented environment
  • Working knowledge of IPC J-STD-001
  • Ability to work with microscopes and small components and good dexterity and coordination
  • Must have basic understanding of Electronics assemblies
  • Good communication skills in both written and verbal English


  • Performs hand soldering operations in accordance with J-STD-001 requirements
  • Performs soldering operations which may require using microscope, tweezers, and microscopic parts to meet customers specifications
  • Utilize electrical and manual tools such as soldering iron, de-soldering equipment, and solder removal tools and fixtures
  • Reads and follows manufacturing work instructions, routings, layouts, and related documents to solder leaded and chip components and assemblies which meet designs and specifications in order to satisfy applicable quality standards
  • Completes necessary paperwork logs and work records consistently
  • Maybe assigned to various work stations, and maybe require to perform assembly work
  • Checks equipment and machinery for safeties to be in good working order
  • Performs routine maintenance on soldering fixtures such as cleaning, verification
  • Conduct and promote work in a safe and responsible manner and report any safety concerns immediately to the supervisor, department manager or a member of the Environmental Health & Safety Committee. Wear appropriate PPE and operate electric or manual equipment in a safe manner in accordance with standards and procedures
  • Upholds 5S standard for continuous improvement
  • Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safe handling practice
  • Interact with other production, quality and maintenance employees to exchange technical information to facilitate teamwork in trouble shooting and repair process
  • Must be aware of relevance and importance of their activities and how it affects quality and the environment for our customers
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision as well as in a team environment
  • Works within company guidelines including but not limited to what is outlined in the Employee Handbook. Must adhere to company specified schedule
  • Maintain work area and physical plant in a neat, clean and orderly condition
  • Perform other duties as required
