DASCH is a non-profit organization established in 1974 dedicated to exploring and meeting the residential, day program, respite and foster care needs of youth and adults. We support people living in over 50 homes and 4 day programs throughout Winnipeg. Position Summary

Under direction of the COO, the Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring quality across the organization is maintained, including but not limited to, location schedules, payroll numbers, overtime, etc. The successful candidate will also oversee select roles such as our Client Accounts Administrator. Emergency On Call rotation will be in place for the assistance of staff.

Role & Responsibilities

Complete schedule reviews and audits regularly to allow quality support to both staff and clients.
Identify, organize and provide group training in different areas to meet quality standard.
Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories.
Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies and corrective actions.
Audit online client information system on a regular basis to allow accurate and up to date client information to be readily available.
Conduct “Quality of Life and Care” audits regularly to allow quality standard to be met.
Interpret, implement and review quality assurance standards and procedures.
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.

Ensure compliance to DASCH policies, licensing and employment standards.
Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
Ensure safety compliance, safe working conditions, safe procedures and practices and adherence to them as set out in The Workplace Safety and Health Act.
Provide on-call support as directed by your supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience in Quality Control considered an asset.
Excellent written and oral communication are required.
Strong problem solving skills are required.
Excellent organization skills including management of multiple assignments, setting goals, targets, and document management.
Sound knowledge of developmental disabilities and experience working in the field preferred.
Full Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License with access to a vehicle for employment.
