What a Bagel 130 Spadina Ave. is looking for a restaurant expeditor who will be responsible for helping to maintain the efficiency of our restaurant kitchen. The expeditor must also ensure that kitchen orders are prioritized according to food chits. In other words, the expeditor will need to direct kitchen staff on what orders to produce, and/or communicate with waitstaff as to where dishes need to be delivered. The expediter sets a rhythm, managing the workflow of the kitchen and is vital to smooth service. They fire dishes – signalling cooks exactly when to push ahead and finish a dish – and they keep time, continuously planning the next move. If this individual is you, please apply!
