System1 is expanding its physical presence in North America with a new team of Online Marketing Specialists that will expand our advertising efforts in the European Union. We are currently seeking Digital Media Buyers to join us in Vancouver, BC and bring their audience acquisition expertise to our newest business line in Canada.

Our EU Markets team is lead by our new director, and will expand to include 3 online marketing specialists that will manage a variety of high-volume campaigns serving French and English-speaking audiences in Europe. This is an exciting opportunity for experience digital ad buyers with bilingual fluency looking for a challenging step up in their careers.

The Role You Will Have
Identify opportunities in respective markets and conduct testing to validate campaign launches, as well as analyze and plan traffic acquisition strategy
Utilize various ad networks to build and launch PPC campaigns for owned & operated sites and content
Optimize campaigns, advise on ad creative design & ad copy for search, paid social, and native campaigns
Manage reporting and performance of assigned accounts and measure against determined KPIs
Work with internal content, design, and engineering teams to optimize user experience and increase conversion rates across sites
Monitor industry and market trends in paid traffic channels to recommend improvements and implement new strategies
What You Will Bring
1+ years experience optimizing paid advertising campaigns across a multiple channels (Native, Social, Search, or Display)
Proficiency with a combination of paid search, social, or native advertising is preferred
Native or equivalent proficiency with French and English; additional proficiency with any other languages spoken in Europe is highly desirable
Expertise with Google Analytics, Excel, and other data visualization tools
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large amounts of raw data
Independent drive to succeed and a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Formal certifications in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or other industry technologies is a plus
A Bachelors Degree is not required, but formal study in relevant languages/cultures, economics, business, marketing, or math is strongly preferred
