Food-X is looking for permanent, full-time Inbound Coordinator (Night Shift) for our Burnaby, BC warehouse (5566 Trapp Avenue, Unit 105). This night shift is Sunday- Wednesday 7:30 pm- 6:00 am (4x10).

Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the daily inbound activities, from the front line
Training and day-to-day performance coaching of Inbound Team Members
Lead daily huddles and sync meetings
Monitor and report on Inbound KPIs
Assume responsibility for collective warehouse team, in the absence of supervisors and managers.
Assist with hiring, discipline and payroll for Inbound Team Members
Engage and develop the team through coaching, support and regular feedback.
Lead with positivity and empathy, while ensuring that team members respect their peers and the requirements of their positions
Help develop new procedures and improvements to current procedures
Seek out and engage in opportunities to further personal leadership development
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:
Tendency to stack and sort your unwrapped birthday gifts according to size and function
Experience working in inventory control & management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Desire to actively problem solve and think creatively to improve processes and complete tasks on a daily basis
Experience working in a team environment
History of working with food, either in a service, retail, or production role, and strong understanding of food safety and quality control processes
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously
Ability to work on your feet all day, bending, leaning, crouching and walking
Ability to work for extended periods of time, and entire shifts in our walk-in refrigerated coolers or freezers

Compensation:
An annual salary based on experience.
