The Wellington Health Care Alliance (WHCA) is currently accepting applications for a full-time Project Coordinator to join our Project Team, for a 6-month contract term. The Project Coordinator will fulfill the administrative and project coordination needs of their assigned managers and teams. This involves anticipating project needs, managing workload, and producing work of the highest quality in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is someone who is seeking a challenge within the traditional role of an administrative assistant and has the ability to juggle multiple tasks, requests, and priorities while also coordinating and collaborating with team members.

One full-time Project Coordinator position available to support the redevelopment project at our Groves Memorial Community Hospital site (Fergus)
A team based/supportive approach to work
Assist managers in the organization and execution of his/her project management duties.
Serve as a liaison between project participants, project managers and other stakeholders of the Capital Project work by ensuring timely communication and monitoring of deadlines, sharing of resources and providing proactive support where possible.
Maintain up-to-date rosters of deliverables and team members involved in project work.
Provide calendar management and coordination to individuals supported.
Organize meetings, special events, and travel arrangements.
Be responsible for project document management including set up, organization, logging databases, maintenance, storage and closure.
Compose and process routine correspondence.
Support business initiatives by maintaining key contacts.
Type, assemble, organize, format, and edit/proof the team’s work.
Perform photocopying, faxing, and preparation of materials for courier shipments, as needed.
Post-secondary education and/or Certificate/diploma in business or office administration.
Five years experiences with 3+ years of directly related experience with at least 2 years of experience providing administrative assistant level support to busy executives, in a health care setting, construction or project management firm preferred.
Excellent proficiency in MS Office required and strong copy-editing skills.
Experience managing confidential information.
Experience working on various types of projects from initiation to closure.
Effectively anticipate, monitor and meet the needs of internal and external clients.
