CanAssess IME Scheduler
Reporting to the CanAssess Manager, you will use your stellar verbal and written communication skills to coordinate medical examinations for clients with the appropriate medical assessors and clinics.
As a CanAssess IME Scheduler, you will:
Schedule medical examinations for clients with appropriate medical assessors and clinics;
Distribute appropriate correspondence to customers (insurance adjusters, clients, employers, etc.);
Prepare medical package that will be distributed to corresponding assessor/clinic;
Maintain communication with parties as needed to inform and update on status;
Document all communication between parties and ensuring accuracy, consistency and comprehension;
Address queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding CanAssess services;
Respond to requests from lawyers, insurance adjusters and employers for medical legal reports and correspondences;
Provide a detailed account of workload on a monthly basis to CanAssess manager;
Supervise and train support staff under the direction of the CanAssess manager, when required;
Provide information as required to regional and corporate groups;
Provide back up and support to other CanAssess positions when required;
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
To take on the role of CanAssess IME Scheduler, you must:
Have strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem solving skills;
Have customer service experience, ideally in the service sector;
Have excellent telephone manner;
Be knowledgeable of the rehabilitation and independent medical sector;
Be Computer literate (Windows, Microsoft office);
Be able to communicate well internally and externally;
