Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. (PCLI), located in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Grease and Additive Scheduler . As a key member of the Production Planning department in Global Supply Chain, this position is responsible for scheduling the grease plant packaging based on inventory requirements and actual orders to meet customers' needs. As well, this position manages all bulk and packaged additive inventory levels in the plant and at 3rd party external warehouses to ensure there is enough additive to keep the plant running while minimizing working capital.

This position is not eligible for International Relocation Program benefits.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential as defined by the applicable disability act)

Orders and coordinates the inbound of over 250 different types of additives for the entire manufacturing facility for grease and making and lubricant blending
Determines the best format to receive additives (drums, trucks, or railcars) based on demand and tank size/constraints
Manages the inventory of all grease packaging components (>175 different components) to ensure the grease plant does not run out of components while minimizing working capital
Schedules the grease plant packaging production in order to meet customer demand while minimizing working capital and taking into consideration facility constraints
Plans for grease plant seasonal changeovers and shutdowns
Processes the invoicing receipts for inbound additives via railcar and packaged additives to 3rd party external warehouse
Key influence on expense tracking and working capital
Supports Inventory Analysts for investigations into inventory discrepancies in additives and grease packaging

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years of relevant experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in utilization of MRP scheduling tools is a definite asset.
Knowledge of lubricants and/or manufacturing processes is an asset.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Post -secondary education required.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:
University degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong computer skills including Excel, SAP, PowerPoint, Word.
Strong organization skills to ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with union and non-union employees.
Non-authoritative leadership skills.
Good understanding of business goals and objectives.
Ability to multi-task and made decisions with limited information available.
Team player but capable of working independently.
Ability to analyze problems, understand potential impacts to business and recommend action on given products/components.
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Detail oriented.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with SAP systems preferred, however, key Materials management experience and analytical skills will be considered.

WORK CONDITIONS:
This operations role functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring timely decisions based on information available.

The role works closely with several other functions within the business including but not limited to: Procurement, Inline Blending, Inventory Strategies, Transportation, Logistics and Quality Assurance.
