Position Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator position is based out of the FilterBoxx Energy Services; Spruce Grove, Alberta centre of Operations. This position involves responsibility for inventory related functions including packaging, picking, shipping, and receiving of materials in accordance with inventory and warehouse best practices. Responsibilities include coordination of equipment deliveries and pickup's, the maintenance of the storage yard, lawns, parking lots and warehouse area.

Role & Responsibilities

Maintain inventory system within the warehouse including item placement, labelling, items setup within system, system management and maintenance as required;
Packaging, picking, shipping, and receiving of materials in accordance with inventory and warehouse best practices;
Prepare shipments from the warehouse - labeling, palletizing and shrink-wrapping;
Prepare and organize shipments to domestic and international locations;
Working closely with customs brokers to complete appropriate commercial documents;
Coordinate couriers and trucking companies for deliveries and pickups as well as site to site transfers
Acquire shipping quotes as required;
Track shipments and assist procurement with expediting parts;
Work in inventory system to conduct inventory transfers, create PO's, and goods issues;
Maintain stock of warehouse inventory items and consumables including parts and chemicals;
Conduct periodic inventory counts ensuring accuracy against inventory system;
General maintenance of the storage yard, greenspace, parking lot and warehouse area;
Deliver company trucks for regular maintenance as requested by fleet coordinator
Arrange for loading and unloading of equipment and materials, organizing and storage of warehouse and yard equipment
Work with vendors on returning / repairing items;


Five or more years of related experience;
Valid Class 5 license with an acceptable driving record;
High School Diploma or equivalency;
Training in inventory/warehouse management systems required;
Understanding and knowledge of warehouse management systems required, including shipping and receiving procedures and inventory systems; including international shipping
Active training/tickets to operate forklift and telehandler;
TDG training an asset.
