As the Records and Information Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, designing and implementing a records management program in Customer Service Communications (CSC), including implementation of an electronic document management system. This position is also the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) Administrator for CSC and is responsible for processing FOIP requests and ensuring legislative requirements are met. Primary duties include:
Implement the CSC records management plan by following established processes and procedures, monitoring plan progress and updating and adjusting as needed.
Provide direction and guidance to CSC staff regarding electronic and hard copy records and file structures.
Educate staff on policies and procedures regarding records management and information management.
Plan, design and implement an electronic document management system.
Perform the role of FOIP Program Administrator by providing advice and guidance to CSC staff and processing FOIP requests for submission to the FOIP Office.
A completed 1 year certificate in records management, library studies or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in records management.
Knowledge of FOIP and previous experience with planning, designing and implementing a records management program is considered an asset.
Access to a personal vehicle for occasional business use.
Success in this position requires effective communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management skills are desired.
Demonstrate a strong customer focus and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
