Reporting to the Director, FP&A, you will co-ordinate the program accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for specific programs, aligned with reporting requirements of the Commercial Landing Gear Value Stream.
Provide leadership for the Commercial Landing Gear Program accounting team
Coordinate the program accounting teams to continuously improve accounting and reporting processes
Business Partner with Operations Finance and value-stream leadership in matters relating to LG Commercial Programs
Provide program analysis and support in addition to gap analysis to plan and forecasts
Present monthly program reviews and support PDPR for LG Commercial programs
Perform budgeting/forecasting for assigned programs
Ensure accounting operations are in compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and all international legal or statutory requirements
Actively manage expectations and risks (no surprises), identify areas of opportunity or improvement
Provide estimating/negotiating support for assigned programs
Perform and contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
Provide support for business case preparation and analysis for management after new program start up
Monitor foreign exchange trends and manage risk using hedge instruments
Liaise with Central Tax on matters relating to transfer pricing and tax
Actively support ACE in driving continuous improvement
Perform ad hoc analyses for projects as assigned
Assist in audit requests as assigned
This position requires a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline desired.
At least 8 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an aerospace
At least 5 years of costing experience and business case analysis in a manufacturing environment is required
Previous leadership experience in a finance role is required- candidate should exhibit good Leadership and people management skills;
CMA, CGA, CPA or equivalent desirable;
Excellent PC skills; demonstrated strength using Microsoft Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; this position will have frequent interaction with senior management
Experience within an ERP environment; experience with SAP and/or Hyperion OFM preferred
Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a team environment
High integrity and ethical decision making practices
