What is the opportunity?

As an IAM Program Manager, you will lead and manage highly complex Identity & Access Management (IAM) Program across RBC Enterprise

Moreover, you will lead the delivery of IAM programs and projects to ensure strategic goals and objectives are accomplished within approved time frames, scope and budget. You will also be responsible for identification and realization of opportunities for program delivery optimization

What will you do?

Ensure the IAM Program projects, releases, and deliverables meet the strategic direction of the Global Cyber Security Unit at RBC, IAM Portfolio, IAM business sponsor and RBC IAM line of business stakeholders.
Provide technology thought-leadership and strategic direction that enhances and supports business processes and enables IAM Team in achieving their goals.
Provide leadership and expert counsel in establishing and implementing standards, guidelines and best practices for the development and deployment of solutions.
Work with Architecture, Development, Operations Teams and various Business partners to enhance the overall technology strategy and to achieve business alignment and strategic business objectives.
Develop program plans and roadmaps, establishes priorities and staffing requirements for current and future years
Planning and allocating the budget and managing costs for the overall Program
Proactively managing and escalating major risks, issues, impediments and dependencies impacting multiple teams/groups
Champion the creation of metrics and manages with a higher level of information i.e. at the trends and management indicator level; differentiates between project and program metrics.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:
8-10 years of experience in managing programs with budget greater than $10MM that have impact across the enterprise
Deep knowledge of IAM applications, relevant technology and industry best practices
Able to facilitate schedule and cost forecasting and mentors program/project managers in determining risk based provisions.

Nice-to-have:
Undergraduate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
PMP Certification or equivalent experience
Knowledge of IT Standards, Methodologies, and audit requirements
Project / Program delivery methodologies Agile/ Waterfall
