As a Settlements Administrator, you will be responsible for the accurate reviewing, balancing and reconciliation of daily settlements, deposits, withdrawals, payables/receivable, suspense accounts and investigations. You will also be looking after the pre-authorized contributions (PAC) and timely remittance/completion of daily processing as it is imperative to avoid risk of Mutual Fund unit fluctuation which may cause unnecessary losses for ATB.
You will find success based on your ability to:
Banking – experience in using SAP for processing deposit and withdrawals
Process PAC, EFT, and SWP
Reconciliation of all Suspense, General Ledger
Reconciliation of all Deposit and Withdrawal accounts
Reconciliation of Clearing Accounts
Settle daily remittance of all trades manual and book based
Ensure daily balancing of accounts is maintained on FundServ and IFDS
Process and balancing of Trailer Fees and commissions
Compensation/Reporting of in-house accounts within the department
Process fees as required
Fee reporting (banking)
Handle all investigations, corrections and errors in a concrete manner, ensuring all pertinent information is copied and attached to the file. Identify any problems to the originator
Uses time effectively – works on high priority actions and items first. Ability to work within limited time frames
Uses judgment and acts within recognized decision- making limits when dealing with unusual situations
Under the direction of the Team Leader, prepares & updates various tracking of data and/or documentation
Accepts any duties as assigned by the Team Leader including but not limited to Banking & Reconciliation
As the ideal candidate you possess:
Must have a strong knowledge of investment industry policies
Minimum 2 years experience within a Securities Environment
Must have a high level of customer service, attention to detail and accuracy
Must have strong administrative, organizational & planning skills as well as technical ability/PC skills
Must have strong collaboration and communication skills, both verbal & written
