We are looking for a full-time Accounts Payable clerk for our small office on Annacis Island in Delta.
Initial responsibilities will include:
- compiling a high volume of invoices and related backup and obtaining proper authorizations and then entering into Microsoft GP Dynamics
- arranging wire payments
- weekly cheque runs and related filing
- month end close and accruals
- other office duties as required
Great Plains or similar accounting software experience is required, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills are mandatory.
Knowledge of PST rules in a manufacturing environment, and a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience is also required.
Previous experience with receivables would be an added bonus as all staff are cross-trained to help advance their careers.
