The Global Identity & Access Management (GIAM) organization is responsible for the execution and governance of established security controls pertaining to identity and access. This includes the centralized provisioning and periodic certification of user identities, the user accounts linked to those identities, management of privileged access, as well as the selection and integration of identity management tools.
The primary mandate of the team is to centrally provision all identities for employees/contractors/vendors that require access to Scotiabank’s network according to established, standardized processes. The mandate of the team also includes governance activities that periodically certify the continued appropriateness of access of these identities to Bank systems.
Reporting to a Director, the Senior Manager will lead a team of Security Analysts who perform access provisioning, audit reporting, and risk remediation related to Identity Management across Scotiabank’s global operations.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
You have at least 2+ years of working experience in leading teams providing Identity and Access Management (IAM) services.
You have at least 4+ years of technical working experience in managing users and user permissions in both Active Directory (AD) and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) systems.
You have at least 4+ years of technical working experience in Windows server/workstation OS
You have at least 3+ years of advanced hands on experience with Powershell scripting
You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. The same in Spanish is an asset.
You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives.
You are proficient in building and executing concrete strategies to achieve complex objectives
You have a post-secondary education in Computer Science or technical equivalence. Technical designations are considered an asset (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
