SUMMARY OF POSITION :
The Junior Business Analyst is responsible for implementing processes, managing systems and the coordination of meetings surrounding total business operations, including account management and financial reporting that crosses all business lines. The position relies on data management, attention to detail, reporting, coordination and the follow-through in support of our organizational goals.
The Junior Business Analyst helps prepare sales forecasts, reports on receivables, coordinates account stewardship meetings and interacts with several internal business processes and systems to provide functional reporting for executive management and practice leaders. This role works collaboratively in a team environment, working closely with the Strategic Resource Administrator, Communications Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS :
The primary function of the Junior Business Analyst is to support the organization through process implementation, systems management and coordination of both business operations and sales opportunities.
Supports the Business Transformation and Strategic Resources Manager and sales team in the overall sales process including research, presentation preparation and reporting.
Utilization of our CRM system to prepare sales forecasts.
Coordinate with the account teams and financial department to report on receivables.
Facilitate account stewardship meetings.
Using technology, tools and resources to execute on several strategies, including new business reporting and financial metric improvements.
Other duties as may be assigned by the Business Transformation and Strategic Resources Manager.
Reports to, and takes direction primarily from the Business Transformation and Strategic Resources Manager. Develops and maintains close working relationship with co-workers and applies superior customer relations skills at all times.
Remains knowledgeable with, and applies, Brokerage Policies and Procedures.
Experience & Education :
Minimum Grade 12 education, or equivalent is required
Post-secondary education is an asset
Relevant experience is preferred
Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Advanced knowledgeable with Broker Management Software (EPIC)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detailed reporting.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings
Adapt to learning new systems, technologies and tools
Able to anticipate needs and suggest/provide solutions instead of reacting.
Ability to coordinate groups of people/public speaking/articulate.
Driven, motivated and desire to excel
Minimal travel is required.
Access to a reliable vehicle is required.
Ability to attend and facilitate presentations is required.
Periodic long hours of work may be required.
