Our downtown Montreal office is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join the US Personal Tax team and own the following responsibilities:
Prepare and review US and Canadian tax returns for individuals, including US trust and estate tax returns.
Prepare and review various US and Canadian foreign reporting forms and information reports.
Review and respond to related tax notices.
Conduct and document related tax research (as required).
Correspond with Internal Revenue Service, State taxation authorities, Canada Revenue Agency and applicable provincial taxation authorities.
Mentor and train junior staff.

Your experience and education
You are working towards or near completion of your CPA designation. (Canadian or U.S.)
You have three or more years of experience in the public accounting industry, with a specialization in US Tax.
You are motivated and diligent in maintaining current technical knowledge in the area of U.S. Tax.
You have knowledge of GoSystems RS and GoFileRoom an asset.
You have excellent verbal and written communications skills in both French and English.
You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
