The Position

This role is a seasonal position intended for an organized leader who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate would have the ability to provide exceptional customer service and upkeep positive energy in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for overseeing booths and ensuring premiere customer service is provided to all customers during the Glow Festival.

The Event

Glow is a seasonal community festival, bringing together the people who love to stroll, laugh and play under the twinkle of half a million lights. Our playgrounds and interactive features will entertain the kids for hours, while Glow’s illuminated sculptures and backdrops are perfect for snapping selfies and family photos. We also invite you to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts, take home fresh produce, and sample seasonal goodies and beverages. Primary Responsibilities

Ensure smooth day to day operations

Oversee 4-6 booths

Responsible for set-up and breakdown of booths

Stock product

Supervise booth associates

Responsibly and accurately handle cash

Provide exceptional customer service

Weekly management meeting

Ensure all visual standards are executed.

Requirements of Applicants

Proven ability to delegate

Management and Customer Service Experience

POS (Point of Sale) experience

Preferred Experience

Booth Management experience

OR

Shift Lead

Key Holder Experience

Work Hours

Christmas Event Period: December 5th, 2019, to January 4, 2020

Start Date

A week before the event opening for training and set-up.

Hours of Operation

12/5 - 12/20

Monday - Friday: 4pm - 10pm

Saturday: 1pm - 10pm

12/21 - 1/4/20

Monday - Friday: 12pm - 10pm

**Closed on Christmas Day and various other dates.

**Some days/hours may fluctuate, a full schedule will be provided upon hire.

**Dates / hours may change before the event begins

The Booth Manager shift is 30 minutes before opening until 30 minutes after closing.
