Heavy duty Industrial Bags / Lumber covers and Lumber wraps used in the Mining, Exploration, Explosives as well as lumber mills. Epak is also a Industry leader in Custom Packaging with customers in all sectors, Government to the Power Sports sector. Our building products divisions manufacture and market building materials such as HomeGuard HouseWrap, Roof underlay and Construction Blankets.
We manufacture Lumber covers, wraps and FIBC's, as well as one and two tonne bulk bags

With continued growth we are please to announce we are looking for an experienced Salesprofessional to join our Sales/ Business Development team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba with travel across Canada. This is a hands-on position with the primary focus on growth, new sales and developing new customers. As well as supporting some existing accounts. Grow our revenue by targeting and closing new business.Prospect leads, respond to inquiries, work with new customers in our target markets. Communicate with customers, document and offer solutions to meet their needs.
Plan, implement and manage sales activities to meet company objectives and customer demands.

  • Develop excellent relationships with new and existing customers
  • Excellent customer services to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Target and focus on new opportunities to generate volume growth
  • Gain new customers through relationship building, networking or cold calling
  • Daily challenges also include negotiating agreements and managing ongoing business ventures and ensure an unrelenting commitment to providing the best possible service to the customer
  • Ensure that the development and achievement of sale objectives are in keeping with the strategic plan for territory
  • Apply the pricing strategy
  • Document administrative activities related to sales
  • Ensure that volume growth and/or account profitability are maintained (prospecting)
  • Organize all activities to maximize efficiency
  • Facilitate discussions between sales and the departments concerned
  • Promote and sell solutions and products that are adapted to the needs of clients
  • Must be able to Travel up to 75%, Travel mainly in Canada however could possibly include USA. Must be able to legally enter the USA.
  • Clean driving abstract and own a vehicle

Desired experience

  • Strong sales background
  • Direct relative experience and/or post secondary education in business or marketing;
  • Experience in the flexible packaging asset
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the packaging industry
  • A grasp of new technology and E-Commerce and the emerging market is an asset
  • Must be able to Travel up to 75%, Travel mainly in Canada however could possibly include USA. Must be able to legally enter the USA.
  • Clean driving abstract and own a vehicle
