Receptionist/Front Desk (Entry Level)

SUMMARY: The Receptionist/Front Desk (Entry Level) is the first point of contact for all incoming calls, visitors and clients. This position is key in maintaining the company’s high level of customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer all general calls coming into the office, screen them and direct them to the proper extension.
Responsible for greeting visitors, clients, visiting colleagues or anyone who enters the premises, determining the amount of access a visitor gets to the rest of the office.
Sort incoming mail, packages, faxes, intercompany mail and forward to appropriate persons. Set up outgoing deliveries.
Maintain lobby cleanliness.
Schedule Conference Rooms.
Other accounting related administrative duties as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Effectively manage competing priorities in a fast passed environment while being organized and detail oriented.
Requires solid experience in: Microsoft Outlook ,Word, Excel, and multi-line phone systems.
Professional etiquette in both self-presentation and presence.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Diploma or high school equivalent.

EXPERIENCE/OTHER:
Minimum of 2 years customer service and or receptionist experience.
Familiarity or interest in accounting administrative work.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit at a desk for seven or more hours per day, and frequently lift and carry objects up to 15 pounds at a time.
