We are looking for specialist who will be responsible for deploying and maintaining Analytics implementations and automating data processes across Rogers Media clients. The candidate will leverage expertise tracking requirement management and analytics tagging for both websites and apps. This individual will work across the organization demonstrating the value of data by driving the business forward by creating and maintaining the framework that allows Rogers to understand and derive insights about audiences to its digital properties.
Work with Digital Product and Platform IT team to ensure best in class data collection on Rogers Digital Media Properties.
Maintain and Improve Dynamic Tag Manager for all media websites
Maintain and Improve DTM compatible Data layer
Implement Bug Fixes as they arise
Update tagging as new features come online
Ensure proper comscore tagging on all properties
Digital Video Analytics
Maintain existing video tagging and proactively design solutions that will improve data collection for video consumption
Maintain Comscore Streamsense Tagging
Ensure Proper app tagging (both Clickstream and Video) tagging is on all MBU properties Web/App at launch
Build and Maintain Processing Rules for all Apps
Maintain Comscore tagging on Apps
Implement and Maintain tagging on Rogers Media Connected Devices
Develop and implement analytics solutions for other Strategic MBU initiatives (Google Amp, DTC Products, Facebook Instant Articles)
Help in developing a strategic roadmap for analytics and measurement on MBU digital properties
Work with QA team to ensure that Analytics is accurate at launch
Design and develop data automation processes and develop solutions for ad-hoc requirements of the media insights team.
Work in a cross-function environment with various technical and business stakeholders to scope and establish a web analytics implementation for new and existing initiatives (from concept to execution of tracking features)
Convert scope and requirements documents to Solution Design Documents.
Participate in clients' QA and deployment processes (must be comfortable with different implementation approaches, i.e. Agile).
Provide support to end users, providing Adobe Implementation training or custom solution design as needed.
Assist business stakeholders to increase and improve their usage of Adobe Analytics
Identify potential gaps or opportunities in digital data analytics strategy.
Provide interpretation guidance to aid decision making by business leaders, as well as proactively inform teams with relevant insight that can be put to operational use quickly and direct internal efforts
Act as a champion for brainstorming new ideas to create insights out of raw data in a quick and efficient manner
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field with 2 + years of working experience with:
Adobe suite strong knowledge - Adobe Analytics (SiteCatalyst), Adobe MobileServices (Apps), Audience Manager
Key features understanding including eVars, Props, success events, VISTA rules, SAINT classifications, raw data feeds and pathing/fallout
Experience working with Dynamic tag management platforms and data elements, data layer implementation
Exposure to web diagnostic tools like Charles proxy, HTTPWatch or Firebug
Proficiency in Python and ability to scrape web pages, building API queries and automating data workflows would be a definite asset
Exhibiting initiative in working on data science projects and having a good eye for visualizing data will be beneficial
