Senior Asset Optimization Consultant - Montreal - (AUS0003TE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Asset Management Consultant in our Montreal office. We are looking for someone with passion and drive, who is highly organized and can ensure that our high standard of quality is maintained.
The successful candidate will be someone with solid experience in asset management and reliability engineering in the manufacturing, mining, oil & gas or pulp & paper industry, in sites recognized for their reliability best practices, and who has proven experience delivering quality work for clients and can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Deliver consulting services to client sites. Up to 75% of the work time can need to be performed at the client site. Mostly in Eastern Canada with possibilities for projects in North America and French speaking Africa
Successfully lead projects whilst maintaining excellent client relationships
Design and implementation of Maintenance and reliability business processes and systems
Development of Asset Management strategies and tactics
Application of Reliability Engineering processes and principles
Experience in Asset Lifecycle analysis is an advantage
Provide consultancy services to the designated clients in line with skills and competencies outlined above
Take on the responsibilities of Team Leader and/or Project Manager supervising other consultants as and when required
Participate in maintenance audits as when required
Standard and timeliness of the provision of service to clients
Compliance with company policies, procedures and standards
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Degree Qualified Mechanical engineer
Experience in Asset Management consulting is a must
Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams to achieve desired outcomes
Understanding and working knowledge of standards such as ISO 55000 or PAS55
Proven prior experience as an Asset or Reliability Engineer
10+ years of experience in manufacturing, mining, oil & gas or pulp & paper industry, in sites recognized for their reliability best practices.
Background as planner/scheduler, supervisor, reliability engineer, superintendent or manager in both operations and maintenance
Experience in building asset maintenance strategies using RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) principles
Ability to lead, plan, execute and review plant major shutdowns and to use Shutdown Gantt charts software’s
Experience in facilitation of defect elimination programs, including: RCFA, FMECA and RCM methodologies
Competency in the development and implementation of key performance indicators required for the proper management of our clients businesses
Demonstrated competency in training, coaching and auditing
High level interpersonal skills together with effective communication skills.
Well-developed written and oral skills in French and the ability to communicate well in English is an asset
Computer and MS-Office knowledge & skills
Knowledge of a variety of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a must
