New Path Youth and Family Services is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst for a six (6) month contract working thirty five (35) hours per week to develop of new tools and processes that support our commitment to quality through enhancement of capacity for continuous quality improvement. Reporting to the Manager of Quality Assurance, the successful incumbent will support the important work of the department through development of dashboards and related protocols, development of online surveys and administrative protocols, and conducting analysis, developing reports and summaries of analysis and data.The Quality Assurance Analyst position is a full-time (35 hours per week), 6-month contract position


1. An undergraduate degree / diploma required (master’s degree preferred) in social sciences, business, economics or other field of study that included a strong research or business analysis component

1. A minimum of 5 years of research work in a professional, client-focused environment with responsibility for managing projects from beginning to completion.

  • Ability to manipulate, manage, and analyze large datasets using descriptive and inferential statistics
  • Proficient with statistical software applications, such as SPSS and able to perform queries in SQL
  • Proficient with Tableau, Power BI or other visualization and analysis tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for development or reports and presentation, manipulating and analyzing data, and creating tables and graphs
  • Knowledge of survey design principles
  • Experience with geospatial mapping considered an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong presentation skills
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to exercise good judgment
  • Strong planning, organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to work accurately and effectively when managing multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team and establish good working relationships with staff at all levels in the agency and with external partners and collaborators
  • Experience working with census data and Beyond 20/20 considered an asset
  • Experience with geospatial mapping considered an asset
