Job Duties:
  • Basic bookkeeping (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable), preferably in QuickBooks desktop
  • Reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, reconcile bank statements
  • Maintain general ledger and financial statements and account reconciliation
  • Preparation of GST, PST, Payroll Remittance, Record of Employment, and T4 slips for filing
  • Process employee payroll, and expense reports
  • Oversee the Maintenance of books of account (including but not limited to preparing checks, posting invoices, preparing deposits, journal entries, reconciliations, petty cash) and issuing of checks and payment of invoices
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Job Requirements

  • High School
  • 2- 3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience
  • Proficient both in oral and written communication in English
  • Computer skills and knowledge of office software

  • Document use, numeracy, working with orders, journal entries
  • Problem solving, decision making, critical thinking
  • Job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory, finding information, continuous learning
  • Ability to work under pressure
