Kelowna Instruments is looking to hire a full-time temporary Administrative Assistant to join our team. The opening for this job is until August of 2020. Kelowna Instruments is the industry leader in automotive instrumentation. No knowledge of the automotive instrumentation industry is required to apply as we provide all relevant industry training.
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills:
-A great customer service focused attitude
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Very good understanding of the English language is required
-The ability to excel working both in a team and as an individual
-A valid drivers license
-A clean criminal record
-Reasonable knowledge of computers, experience with Microsoft office and Sage50 would be advantageous.
-Previous reception or administrative experience is not required but would be considered as advantageous.
-Addressing customer questions and concerns
-Taking care of billing and payment of customers
-Receiving purchase orders from vendors
-Scheduling work for our road crew as well as customer appointments
-Ensuring that all information is correctly entered into accounting software
-Keeping a clean work area both physically and digitally that allows for proper tracking of invoices and purchases
-Shipping of instrumentation components to customers worldwide.
-Occasional trips to pickup required supplies for the office.
To our ideal candidate we'd be able to offer the following compensation:
-Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM office hours
-$16/hour starting wage, which will increase after completion of your probationary period(3 months) along with annual raises
