In this role you wil be:
Proper use of SAP to assign, complete and close out PM’s & Work Orders
Proper use of SAP to track employee’s hours based on Work Orders assigned
Review Work Requests and gather information to properly order parts and assign Work Orders
Assign Work Orders needing planning and material to planning backlog
Maintains effective interdepartmental communication with managers and associates
Manage Supplemental Maintenance (i.e. contractors)
Prepare a weekly schedule and facilitate the weekly Planning Meeting
Manage the PM program: level load PMs, review PM effectiveness, assist with developing PM strategy, establish and adjust PM frequencies, etc.
Compile weekly schedule compliances
Identify recurring maintenance issues
Keeps and maintains all records in an organized manner (properly marked, checked and filed correctly) in accordance to the Records Program
Maintain the Maintenance KPIs for the department
Develops short term and long term equipment overhauls, rebuilds and projects to meet business needs
Thoroughly understands how to fully utilize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). SME for the plant in SAP PM
Develops PM programs using TPM methodologies, maintains the PM plans so they stay relevant
Works closely with parts and purchasing team members to ensure timely delivery of key parts, can back up team members as needed
Able to locate and identify equipment name, model, serial number, part or component number
All other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager
Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
Adhere to company standards, policies and procedures
Comply with all Quality, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP requirements, programs and concepts
Comply with Environmental compliance, energy savings, and recycling requirements
Comply with Safety requirements including but not limited to PPE, LOTO, Emergency Preparedness, machine guarding and safety rules
Continually seeks to improve performance of assigned duties
Able to differentiate mechanical electrical components. Able to read mechanical electrical schematics
Good communication, mechanical, electrical and analytical skills
Comprehend production schedule and its importance. Ensures neat and orderly work area
Ability to communicate with equipment manufacturer, vendor and or suppliers to plan work
Ensures all paperwork is completed and legible. Able to documents and records activities in SAP
What you will need to success in this role:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner
Must have good computer skills and advanced working knowledge on SAP system
Trade certificate (millwright) or Graduate/Diploma having trade ticket with technical background
