Job description

Architectural Discipline Manager - Production.

We are seeking someone with 12-15 years of experience to manage a wide variety of projects from the initial design phase through to the on-site contract administration. Candidates shall be able to prepare architectural working drawings & construction details, specifications, in a collaborative and team environment. The candidate should be self-motivated, sincere, conscientious and detail-oriented with a professional manner and strong communication skills. Candidates should also have sound management skills and enjoy working on technical aspects of architectural projects in a fast-paced and supportive environment and participate in business development activities. Job duties will also include day to day management of production drawings in design and construction drawings stages and will also involve constant review and coordination within a multi-discipline team. Must be highly experienced with Revit and Autocad software, Sketchup and proficient with MS Office productivity software. An intermediate to senior level of familiarity with the Ontario Building Code and knowledge of building science and construction detailing will be an asset, along with a strong motivation for continual learning.
